Top Rabbis to Convene for Rare 'Curse Release' Ceremony

For the first time, a special ceremony to annul curses, excommunications, and condemnations will be held at the home of Rabbi Mordechai Sternbuch. The event, initiated by the "Kupat Ha'ir" charity organization, aims to bring salvation to the public and individuals.

The esteemed rabbinical court will convene on Thursday, the 13th of the month of Elul, a time considered auspicious for prayer. Alongside Rabbi Sternbuch, the court will include Rabbi Moshe Tzedaka, head of the Porat Yosef Yeshiva, and Rabbi Moshe Yehuda Schlesinger, a member of the Council of Torah Sages. Seven additional pious scholars will join them to complete the required quorum for the ceremony.

Notably, all three presiding rabbis share the name Moshe, a significant detail highlighted by organizers. The ceremony is scheduled for the 13th of Elul, a day associated with divine mercy and the opening of the gates of heaven.

Individuals who donate 333 shekels to Kupat Ha'ir will have their names submitted to the rabbis for inclusion in the annulment. Donors will also receive a "curse release certificate" signed by the three judges, attesting that any curses or condemnations against them have been nullified. The organizers expressed hope that this will lead to a good and sweet year for all donors, filled with blessings, success, and joy.
