Michal Yanai Seeks '90s Kids for Nostalgic Reunion Show
Children's television host Michal Yanai is launching a nostalgic initiative as part of the upcoming "Mutek FOREVER" production, seeking children who appeared on her popular 1990s shows, "Michal's Carnival" and "Kitzap."
The goal is to film a special reunion segment, tapping into the widespread nostalgia for the era. This follows a similar call by another children's show host, Chani Nachmias, who is searching for participants from her show "Chani's Room" for a reunion.
Yanai announced her search in a video, stating, "'Mutek FOREVER' this year is a wave of nostalgia. Following what Chani Nachmias did... I am looking for a birthday child who was on 'Michal's Carnival' or 'Kitzap.' You are invited to write to us if you were one of them. Hugs to you!"
The "Mutek Festival" show has become a significant Hanukkah tradition in Israel, and this year's production will focus on intergenerational connections through music and shared memories. Notably, Miki Mukhtar, known as Miki Me Neshmeeki, who was herself a child guest on "Michal's Carnival," will also be featured in the show, creating a full-circle moment.
