Tzachi Halevy Warns of Erez Tal's 'Dangerous' Persona on Satire Show

Actor and reservist Tzachi Halevy, known for tough roles, has taken on a surprising new job as the personal bodyguard for the satirical character Limor, played by Orna Banai. Halevy is participating in a special broadcast of the iconic Israeli satire show 'Rak Bishראל' (Only in Israel), created by Erez Tal and Orna Banai in the late 1990s. The show, which significantly shaped Israeli television, follows Limor's fictional run for the Knesset (parliament) at the head of her own party.

In his new role, Halevy is tasked with protecting Limor as the upcoming elections approach. He described the assignment as one of the most challenging of his life, even more so than his combat military service. When asked who poses the biggest threat to Limor, Halevy jokingly pointed to Erez Tal, the show's co-creator, stating, "Mainly to protect her from Shimon (Erez Tal), he's the most threatening there. He's an enemy from within, looks nice but he's the most dangerous."

Halevy also quipped that strict protocols almost led him to use live ammunition. Beyond the humor, the special broadcast is a collaboration with the "Chalasartan" association, which supports young people battling cancer. Halevy emphasized his immediate willingness to join the project, highlighting the importance of supporting young cancer patients and hoping the broadcast will encourage public support for this community.
