Border Police Find Kalashnikov, Ammo Cache Hidden in Bushes in Yarka
Border Police officers discovered a cache of weapons, including a Kalashnikov rifle and loaded magazines, hidden in bushes in the northern Israeli town of Yarka. The discovery was made during a nighttime operation as part of a broader effort to combat crime and illegal weapons in the Western Galilee.
The officers, operating under the Coastal District's Asher region command, found a bag concealed among shrubs in an open area. Inside the bag, they located the Kalashnikov rifle, two full magazines, loose 7.62mm ammunition, and additional weapon parts.
The seized weapons and ammunition were transferred to the Western Galilee police station for further investigation. The operation was conducted in cooperation with district police officers.
