Israel is set for a partly cloudy to mostly clear Saturday, with a slight rise in temperatures, mainly in the mountains and inland areas. Forecasters said the weather will be seasonable and comfortable for outings during the Sabbath.
Overnight, skies are expected to stay partly cloudy, and it will be cool in higher elevations. Temperatures on Sunday are not expected to change. In Haifa, skies are likely to remain cloudy for much of the day.
From midday, the Beit She’an Valley and the Jordan Valley are expected to face moderate heat stress. The center of the country should remain pleasant and sunny, and no local rain is expected.
The Mediterranean Sea is forecast to be rough and dangerous for swimming. Expected temperatures are Jerusalem 16-29, Tel Aviv-Yafo 22-28, Haifa 20-28, Afula 19-33, Ashdod 20-29, Ashkelon 20-29, Beersheba 19-32, Mitzpe Ramon 17-32, and Eilat 25-30.
