Ein-Li Green Appears in Court After Arrest During Land Defense Protest
Ein-Li Green, co-chair of the "Einenu Mekom" (We All Have a Place) party, appeared before the Acre Magistrate's Court on September 16, 2026. Green was arrested the previous day while standing with residents of Majd al-Krum in protest against settlers attempting to seize their land. The police have charged Green with six offenses, including allegedly assaulting a police officer, a charge the party vehemently denies, calling it false. The party released a statement asserting that the actions were part of "fascist policies" by Itamar Ben-Gvir, aimed at intimidation and persecution, but vowed they would not deter the party from supporting residents and defending their rights. A video documenting the events was reportedly attached to the statement.
