Israeli Athletes Secure Three Bronze Medals at World Beach Sambo Championship

At the World Beach Sambo Championships held in Caraguatatuba, Brazil, Israeli athletes achieved significant success, securing three bronze medals. Grigory Rudelson earned a bronze in the men's up to 88 kg weight class, while Alice Schlesinger took bronze in the women's up to 72 kg category. Schlesinger, who represents Great Britain in judo due to a dispute with the Israeli Judo Federation leadership, competes for Israel in sambo.

In addition to the individual medals, the Israeli national team secured third place in the team competition. Russia claimed first place in the team event, followed by Romania in second. Kazakhstan also won a bronze medal in the team championship.
