Four Hesder Yeshiva Students Complete Paramedic Training
Four students from the Meir Harel Hesder Yeshiva in Modi'in have completed a specialized paramedic training course. The yeshiva stated that the program was established in response to a critical need for male paramedics within the IDF's maneuvering corps, particularly in light of the military's ongoing service integration policies. These four graduates join previous alumni who are already serving in combat units and reconnaissance teams. According to the yeshiva, graduates of the program have been credited with saving the lives of hundreds of soldiers and commanders in various conflict zones. The institution congratulated the new paramedics and expressed hope that the program will be expanded to include additional Hesder and higher yeshivas in the near future, aiming to address a long-standing personnel gap.
