Israeli Parties Secure Millions in Campaign Funding Ahead of Elections

Several Israeli political parties have received substantial advance funding for their upcoming election campaigns, according to data published by Calcalist. The Likud party leads with 37 million shekels, followed closely by Yesh Atid, which secured 32 million shekels. Shas received approximately 16.14 million shekels, while the Religious Zionism party obtained 8.8 million shekels. Yisrael Beiteinu is set to receive 7.2 million shekels, and Oztma Yehudit has 6.9 million shekels. Other parties receiving advance payments include Tikva Hadasha with 5.8 million shekels, the Labor party (as part of the Democrats list) and the United Arab List (Ra'am) each with 4.3 million shekels, and Hadash with 4.4 million shekels.

Notably, the Yachad party, led by Gadi Eisenkot, received an advance of about 3.67 million shekels, with potential funding reaching up to 18.6 million shekels depending on the collateral provided. These advance payments are part of a campaign financing mechanism that allows parties to access funds in exchange for collateral. The amount of funding varies based on a party's standing and its number of Knesset seats.

The figures represent available funding, not necessarily the amounts already spent, as actual expenditure will be determined by each party's decisions and campaign scale leading up to election day.
