Former Minister Ayelet Shaked Calls for Netanyahu's Resignation

Former Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked stated that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should resign, holding him responsible and blaming him for the events of October 7th. Shaked made these remarks at a conference hosted by the Directors Forum, criticizing the current government for causing severe social division and fragmentation.

Speaking at the "One on One" conference, Shaked expressed her belief that Netanyahu should end his political career. She elaborated on her criticism of the current government, noting that many on the right feel they have no one to vote for due to the deep political rifts. Shaked also reflected on her past attempts to break down the traditional political blocs, acknowledging that the public did not support such a move and that no unity party had gained traction. Consequently, she decided to remain in the real estate sector for the time being, with future political aspirations.

Looking ahead to potential future elections, Shaked predicted that neither political bloc would secure a majority to form a government. She also addressed Netanyahu's claims of being politically boycotted, asserting that the responsibility for this situation is not one-sided and that he also boycotts the opposing side.
