President Donald Trump intensified his political attack over the war with Iran, arguing that Tehran has been left with almost no meaningful military capabilities. He said the conflict had “crushed Iran” and claimed the country no longer has an air force, navy, anti-aircraft equipment, radar, or “almost anything else.”
Trump also accused Democrats of failing to understand the situation, saying they continue to claim Iran is in a better position now than it was four months ago. In a separate jab, he wrote, “How stupid can some people be?”
The remarks come amid a broader political fight over the impact of the war and the condition of Iran after the fighting. Trump’s comments presented Iran as severely weakened and framed Democratic criticism as disconnected from reality.
