Ariel Breaks Ground on First Hydrotherapy Pool in West Bank

Ariel Municipality held a festive cornerstone-laying ceremony today for the first hydrotherapy pool in the West Bank region, which will serve as an advanced, dedicated center for treatment, therapy, and rehabilitation. The project was made possible by a significant donation, spearheaded by Mayor Elior Shachaf and the Ariel Development Fund, along with support and funding from the Ministry for the Development of the Periphery, the Negev, and Galilee.

Attending the ceremony were Minister for the Development of the Periphery, the Negev, and Galilee Yitzhak Wasserlauf, Mayor Elior Shachaf, and representatives from the municipal administration and the development fund. The new complex is expected to offer top-tier para-medical and rehabilitation services, saving residents of Ariel and the surrounding area from lengthy travel for treatments outside the region.

"The therapeutic hydrotherapy pool is a social, value-based, and Zionist engine for growth," stated Mayor Shachaf during the event. "Ariel residents will no longer need to travel outside the city for advanced medical care. They will have a therapeutic space right here, close to home. This exciting step is directly integrated into the development momentum currently underway in the capital of Samaria, alongside the "Dagan" agreement for building thousands of new housing units."
