Netflix Children's Star Slams Ed Sheeran Over Israel Stance

Children's entertainer Rachel Griffin Accorso, known as 'Miss Rachel' from Netflix, has fiercely criticized singer Ed Sheeran for dropping rapper Macklemore from his tour. Accorso's condemnation stems from Sheeran's decision, reportedly made after Macklemore's anti-Israel statements during a performance.

Accorso, in a strong statement, argued that remaining silent during what she termed a "genocide" is wrong, emphasizing that Palestinian children continue to be killed and their infrastructure destroyed. She posited that a global outcry would occur if a similar number of white children were killed elsewhere, suggesting a double standard in the response to the ongoing conflict.

This is not Accorso's first controversy related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Previously, she faced backlash for allegedly accidentally liking an Instagram comment calling for America to be "freed from Jews." She also initiated a fundraising campaign for Gaza.

Sheeran's decision to remove Macklemore as an opening act followed the rapper's performance of his song "Hind's Hall," which was inspired by pro-Palestinian protests on U.S. college campuses. Macklemore's song referenced the ongoing conflict and the student demonstrations.
