Israel basketball coach Ariel Beit-Halahmi announced the national team roster on Friday for two games against Germany and Croatia on July 3 and 6. It is the team’s first action since the pair of March matches against Cyprus. Of the 15 players called up, 14 are expected to travel to Latvia, where Israel will play Germany in the opening game.
Captain Tomer Ginat is uncertain to take part because of a knee injury. Four other players will miss the window due to injuries: Bar Timor, Idan Zalmanson, Tamir Blatt and Yovel Zoosman. Danny Avdija was also unavailable after not being released from the NBA.
Two players received notable new call-ups. Center Beniya Serur was invited to the senior national team for the first time, while Eitan Burg returned to the squad for the first time since last summer’s EuroBasket. The roster also includes Yam Madar, Noam Yaakov, Kadin Carrington, Guy Palatin, Adam Ariel, Joaquin Schuchman, Nethanel Artzi, Lior Karera, Roman Sorkin, Yotam Hanochi and Ily Dolinsky.
Israel’s full 15-man roster was published by Sport 5 on June 19, 2026 at 13:15.
