National Security Minister Ben-Gvir Receives Warm Welcome from Sephardi Sage
National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and "Otzma Yehudit" candidate Yossi Goldberger were warmly received by Rabbi Reuven Elbaz, a member of the Sephardi Haredi Council of Torah Sages and head of the "Or HaChaim" yeshiva, on Tuesday. The meeting took place ahead of the Selichot prayers.
The warm reception follows recent expressions of support for Minister Ben-Gvir from within the Haredi community, including from senior rabbis and religious figures. According to sources present, Rabbi Elbaz engaged in an extended conversation with Ben-Gvir and Goldberger, discussing the minister's work and commending his efforts to toughen conditions for terrorists imprisoned in Israel.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Rabbi Elbaz blessed Ben-Gvir and Goldberger, wishing them great success in their continued endeavors for the people of Israel.
