Bereaved Families Urge Political Leaders to Abandon Oslo Accords for West Bank Plan

Ahead of the upcoming elections, the "Homecoming Forum," an organization of bereaved parents and families, has sent a sharp letter to all party leaders demanding a practical plan for re-establishing Israeli presence in the open areas of Judea and Samaria. The group, led by Eliab Levi and Yehoshua Sherman, who lost sons in the war, also called for a formal renunciation of the "Oslo concept."

The families criticized the recent years' treatment of Judea and Samaria as a secondary arena, urging a fundamental shift. Their letter questions whether continuing to manage the reality created by the Oslo Accords is sustainable or if it's time to break free from the concept itself.

The forum asserted that returning to the open areas of Judea and Samaria is possible without artificial divisions into Areas A, B, and C, and without bloodshed or granting citizenship to Palestinians, drawing a parallel to the capture of Mount Hermon. They are demanding party leaders present their positions and plans on this issue.

The "Homecoming Forum" announced it would publish the parties' responses, or their evasions, to the public. This aims to enable voters to make informed decisions at the ballot box.
