Haim Habsush, the father of Nove Habsush, posted an emotional message after learning that his son was killed overnight on Friday in southern Lebanon. Nove Habsush, from the town of Adam in the Binyamin region, was one of four fighters killed in the heavy incident there.
Among the dead was Lt. Col. Dor Gedalia Ben Shimhon, the commander of Battalion 52. Haim said IDF officers came during the night to deliver what he called the “most painful news of all,” writing that “our sweet and beloved son, Nove, was killed tonight in Lebanon.”
In his Facebook post, Haim urged the public to keep living normally as much as possible. “We will be very happy to see everyone continue going on trips and trying to maintain routine as much as possible,” he wrote. “Our Nove died for this, so that we can continue living in this land, safely, happily and peacefully. I love you all.”
