Five Injured in Major Highway Accident Near Ben Gurion Airport
Five people were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 1 westbound, near the Ben Gurion Airport interchange. Emergency medical services, MDA, responded to the scene after receiving a report at 8:37 PM.
Among the injured were a 70-year-old woman with a pelvic injury and a 70-year-old man with a head injury, both evacuated in moderate condition. A 19-year-old woman sustained moderate injuries to her chest and limbs. Two additional individuals were treated and transported to the hospital in light condition.
All five casualties were taken to Sheba Medical Center Tel HaShomer for further treatment.
