Aeronautics Firm Leads Gains as Tel Aviv Stock Exchange Closes Higher
The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange concluded Monday's trading session with gains in its two main indices. The TA-125 index rose by 1.11% to close at 4,125.98 points, while the TA-35 index saw a more modest increase of 0.14%, ending the day at 4,227.56 points.
Leading the day's advancers was Elbit Systems, whose stock surged by 12.70% to reach 172,100 agorot. Palo Alto Networks followed, with its stock climbing 8.58% to 11,190,000 agorot. NICE Inc. also performed well, with its shares increasing by 5.62% to 3,175,000 agorot. Opko Health and Ayalon Insurance completed the top five gainers, rising 4.34% and 4.05% respectively.
On the downside, Electra Real Estate experienced the largest drop, with its stock plummeting 6.85% to 199,900 agorot. Nova Ltd. saw its shares fall by 6.34% to 10,520,000 agorot. RP Optical, Tower Semiconductor, and Ormat Technologies were also among the day's biggest decliners, with their stocks dropping 4.94%, 4.84%, and 4.68% respectively.
