Thousands of Sanz Hasidim Celebrate Rosh Hashanah in Netanya
Thousands of Sanz Hasidim gathered in Netanya for Rosh Hashanah, celebrating in the presence of their Rebbe at the Hasidic center. Due to the large crowd and the late hour on the first night of the holiday, the Rebbe delivered a collective blessing for a good year to all the Hasidim together. In response, the Hasidim reciprocated the blessing, a departure from previous years where individual blessings were customary.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe recited a special prayer, 'Mi Sheberach,' for the well-being and complete recovery of several other Rebbes from prominent Hasidic dynasties, including Vizhnitz, Belz, Boyan, and Hordinka. This act highlights the interconnectedness and mutual support within the Hasidic community.
Moshe Goldstein provided extensive documentation of the events, capturing scenes from the eve of Rosh Hashanah and the conclusion of the holiday, emphasizing the spiritual atmosphere and the Rebbe's presence.
