Veteran Israeli Journalist Haim Levinson Launches Daily Podcast

Haim Levinson, a prominent Israeli political journalist and commentator, is launching a new daily podcast titled "Levinson in the Morning." The podcast will be a short, focused political show released every weekday morning, starting Tuesday. Levinson, who has covered Israeli politics for nearly two decades, previously worked as a political correspondent and commentator for the newspaper Haaretz and co-hosted the show "Ofira and Levinson" on Channel 12.

In his new solo venture with the podcast network All In, Levinson will host the 8-minute episodes alone. Each episode will feature his analysis of key political issues, recent polls, and his commentary on events relevant to the Israeli public. He also plans to examine the media landscape itself, discussing how events are presented, who receives coverage, and what is left out.

Levinson emphasized the unique format of his podcast, stating it will be "just me: short, focused, to the point." He humorously contrasted it with other podcasts featuring multiple hosts discussing personal matters, quipping that his would not involve "two or more hosts who bore you with their sex lives from 20 years ago." The first episode is set to discuss the film "Noza," which Levinson admitted he has not seen.

"Levinson in the Morning" will be available on podcast platforms. Levinson indicated that promotion for the podcast would begin immediately, adding that if the podcast proves balanced and successful, he intends to continue it.
