Journalist Slams Netanyahu's Public Statements on Military Operations

Israeli journalist Haim Levinson has launched a sharp critique against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, questioning the way security operation outcomes have been presented to the public over the last three decades. Levinson posted on social media, asking if Netanyahu had ever publicly admitted after a military operation that it did not go as planned, was only partially successful, or had no real impact.

Levinson further attacked what he perceives as a consistent pattern in Netanyahu's public pronouncements, where every action is described with superlatives like "amazing," "tremendous," "victorious," "deterrent," "exceptional," "huge," "dramatic," and "important." He implied that such consistently positive framing prevents a realistic assessment of the operations' true results.

This criticism is part of Levinson's frequent online commentary and his regular columns for the media platform "100שטח," which he joined in April 2026. This new role followed his dismissal from the newspaper "Haaretz" and the end of his co-hosting position on the show "Ophira and Levinson" on Keshet 12 in late 2025. These actions were reportedly taken after revelations about his financial ties to the company "Perception," run by communications consultant Sarulik Einhorn.
