Fox Group CEO Harel Wiesel Sells Shares Worth Over $1 Million
Harel Wiesel, the controlling shareholder and CEO of the Fox Group, recently executed a transaction involving company shares, exercising stock options and subsequently selling the allocated shares. On September 8, Wiesel exercised 18,834 options through a net exercise mechanism, which grants the option holder only the shares representing the accumulated profit. This resulted in him being allocated 3,077 Fox Group shares.
Following the option exercise, Wiesel's stake temporarily increased from 6.47% to 6.49% of the company's capital. However, two days later, on September 10, he sold all 3,077 shares in multiple transactions. These sales, conducted at an average price of approximately NIS 338 per share, generated a total return of about NIS 1.04 million (over $280,000 USD).
After the sale, Wiesel's shareholding returned to 899,924 shares, representing 6.47% of Fox Group's stock. The net effect of this maneuver was no change in the number of ordinary shares he holds in the company. Fox Group is currently valued at approximately NIS 4.7 billion, making Wiesel's total holding worth around NIS 304 million.
Other significant shareholders in Fox Group include Avraham Fox, who owns about 22.19%, and Wiesel family members Asaf and Yiftach Wiesel, each holding approximately 6.5%. In a separate transaction, Eyal Greenberg, CEO of the Golf Group, purchased 54 shares for NIS 8.87 each, totaling NIS 479. This purchase brings his stake in Golf Group to about 1.16%, valued at approximately NIS 4.5 million.
