Israeli journalist and commentator Emmanuel Rosen has sparked widespread social media debate with a sharp critique of what he terms hypocrisy in Israel's public and political discourse regarding the Gaza war. Rosen highlighted a perceived disconnect between extreme statements made domestically and the international outcry over Israel's actions.

In a viral post, Rosen questioned the outrage directed at a film that allegedly mirrors the sentiments expressed by Israeli ministers, audiences, and singers who advocate for erasing Gaza and labeling every child a terrorist. He noted the contradiction of those same figures decrying a film for stating similar views.

Rosen clarified his personal stance, stating he does not believe any IDF commander or political leader intentionally orders the killing of children. However, he asserted that when public figures declare there are no innocent civilians in Gaza and call for its destruction, they should anticipate such sentiments being reflected in artistic works.

News correspondent Yonatan Reiger of Channel 12 discussed the controversy on a morning program, mentioning that the film in question reportedly features anonymous testimonies and alleges intentional killings and war crimes, possibly using AI to assess civilian casualties.
