Hapoel Tel Aviv Registers New Signing Yannick Leliendal, Releases Shanda Silva
Hapoel Tel Aviv has resolved its roster issue concerning new acquisition Yannick Leliendal, announcing on Monday that the Surinamese defender has been registered with the team. As a consequence of Leliendal's registration, Shanda Silva has been removed from the squad.
It remains uncertain whether Leliendal will be available to play in the Tel Aviv derby on Monday evening, but he is now officially part of coach Eliniv Barda's team. Silva, another foreign player, is the one who paid the price for this roster move.
The team now has a total of eight foreign players, including Silva before his departure. The other foreign players are Marcus Coco, Chico, Fernan Mayembo, Adrian Creve, Falcao, Douglas Owusu, and Emmanuel Boateng.
