Hapoel Tel Aviv Signs Suriname International Yannick Leliendal

Hapoel Tel Aviv announced on Monday the signing of left-back Yannick Leliendal to a three-year contract, following his transfer from Dutch club Volendam. The 24-year-old Suriname international successfully passed his medical examinations and will wear the number 32 jersey.

Leliendal joins Hapoel Tel Aviv after a season with Volendam where he made 37 appearances in the top Dutch league, scoring one goal and providing one assist. He began his youth career at Genk's academy in Belgium and also played for PSV Eindhoven and Utrecht's youth teams. His senior career included stints at Venlo and TOP Oss before his move to Volendam in the summer of 2024.

At Hapoel Tel Aviv, Leliendal is expected to strengthen the team's left flank and will compete with Doron Leidner for a starting position.
