Rabbi Steinman Delivers Inspirational Address to Hundreds of Students
Ahead of Rosh Hashanah, Rabbi Shraga Steinman visited the "Birkas Shmuel" yeshiva to deliver a pre-holiday address to hundreds of students. The yeshiva is headed by Rabbi Uziyahu Leibowitz.
Rabbi Steinman spoke about the importance of Torah study and offered blessings for the new year to the students, spending time with each individually. He expressed admiration for the "sound of Torah" emanating from the study hall and noted the "rare divine assistance" that aids the institution.
He highlighted the yeshiva's success in its founding year, with many students being sent to prominent yeshivas, where they were praised by their leaders for their level of learning and conduct. Rabbi Steinman blessed the institution's continued growth, in memory of its founder, Rabbi Shmuel "Birkas Shmuel" Leibowitz.
