Hapoel Holon Basketball Player Drew Drewell Suffers Hamstring Tear, Out for Weeks
Drew Drewell, a point guard for Israeli basketball club Hapoel Holon, has been diagnosed with a hamstring tear and will be sidelined for several weeks. The injury occurred during a Winner Cup game against Ironi Ness Ziona. Drewell, 24, who also plays for the Jamaican national team, joined Hapoel Holon this season after playing for Pau-Orthez in the French second division last year. In France, he averaged 10.9 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game.
With Drewell's absence, Hapoel Holon's coaching staff is actively seeking a replacement point guard to integrate quickly. The team faces upcoming challenges both domestically and in the Champions League.
