Young Woman Critically Injured in Shooting Incident in Negev's Umm Batin
A 22-year-old woman sustained serious injuries from a shooting incident in the Bedouin town of Umm Batin, near Tel as-Sabi in the Negev region. The incident occurred late at night, and emergency services were alerted at approximately 00:54.
Paramedics from the Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency service responded to the scene and provided initial medical treatment. The woman suffered penetrating wounds and was transported by intensive care ambulance to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva. Her condition was described as serious and unstable, and she was semi-conscious.
Advanced paramedic Alisa Lashin, along with EMTs Yonatan Malka and Michel Shor, stated that they provided field treatment to the victim, who had penetrating injuries to her body following the violence. They emphasized her serious, unstable condition upon arrival at the hospital.
