Maccabi Tel Aviv's handball team has been eliminated from the European Handball Federation Cup after a decisive loss to Switzerland's Bern. The second leg, played on Sunday, saw Maccabi fall 40-25 to Bern, less than 24 hours after losing the first leg 39-25. Bern established an early lead in the second match, going up 11-5 after 15 minutes and extending it to 20-10 by halftime. They continued to dominate in the second half, reaching a 30-16 advantage by the 45th minute before securing the 40-25 victory.
