Shakira Spotted on a Date with Manuel Garcia-Rulfo After Saying Love Was Not on Her Mind

Four years after her highly publicized breakup with Gerard Pique, Shakira has been photographed with Netflix star Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, despite recently saying she was focused on motherhood and not looking for love. According to the report, the pair were seen leaving a hotel together, smiling, staying close, and kissing as they headed to a car.

The sighting came only weeks after Shakira told People that the betrayal that ended her relationship with Pique left her traumatized and led her to prioritize her children over romance. She said she was concentrating on raising her sons and did not see a new relationship happening anytime soon.

In the interview, Shakira said she was thinking only about her children, Milan, 13, and Sasha, 11, whom she shares with Pique. She added, “I don’t see it happening right now,” and said that perhaps love would come back “when they grow up.” The new images, however, appear to suggest otherwise.
