Israeli Police Evict Arab Farmers to Protect Settler Outpost in Galilee

Tensions flared in the Galilee town of Majd al-Krum on Tuesday after Israeli police blocked access to agricultural lands in the "Al-Rous" area, preventing local farmers from reaching their property. Residents were surprised by the heavy police presence, which transformed the area into a closed military zone. It was later revealed that the operation aimed to restrict the movement of Arab citizens to provide security for a group of extremist female settlers known as the "Hilltop Youth." These settlers had occupied the area to establish a new settlement presence on private land belonging to the town's residents.

The Majd al-Krum Movement and popular committees condemned the police action, highlighting its timing just weeks before the olive harvest season. They stated that the police are now acting as a protective force for settler groups instead of removing them. Youth and popular calls have been issued for residents to mobilize and head to the area to break the blockade and protect their property from confiscation and Judaization.
