Brazilian UFC fighter Jean Silva, known as "The Lord," achieved a significant victory on Saturday night during the annual Noche UFC event, securing a win against Jose Delgado via a rear-naked choke in the third round. This triumph comes approximately a month and a half after Silva visited Israel, where he reportedly received a warm reception. The fight was Silva's first since his last win about eight months prior. He faced Delgado after the original opponent, Yair Rodriguez, withdrew from the bout. Despite the change in opponent, Silva dominated the fight, knocking Delgado down with a punch in the third round before transitioning to a dominant position on his opponent's back. He then applied the chokehold, forcing Delgado to submit. Immediately after the submission, Silva performed his signature "barking" celebration, a response to Delgado's pre-fight comments about treating him like a dog. This win marks Silva's 18th career victory in 21 professional fights. The event also featured other notable bouts, including Brandon Moreno's win over Joseph Morales by split decision and Curtis Blaydes' victory against Waldo Cortez Acosta by unanimous decision.
