Iran's Revolutionary Guard Chief Claims Military Might Exceeds Enemy Expectations
Major General Ahmad Vahidi, the commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guard, stated that the Iranian military's capabilities far surpass what "the enemy" perceives. He asserted that "the enemy" witnessed firsthand during a recent conflict their miscalculations of Iranian military strength, with Iranian military realities becoming evident on the ground.
Vahidi further predicted that the Israeli military would collapse very quickly without American support. He also claimed that the Americans have encountered an "impenetrable dam" of Iranian faith and zeal, while the White House is characterized by helplessness and despair in its decisions.
According to Vahidi, U.S. President Donald Trump resorted to lies and deception to create illusory achievements. He alleged that American and Israeli intelligence and military agencies misled American political leaders about Iran's military challenges and resilience. Vahidi concluded that U.S. political officials are now deceiving the American public to cover up their failures.
Vahidi's remarks were made during a joint meeting with Major General Amir Hatami, the commander of the Iranian Army, to discuss recent battlefield developments. Hatami emphasized that the unity and coordination between the Army and the Revolutionary Guard are a solid foundation for national security and a key to achieving peak security and power. He described the inseparable unity between the two forces as a "steel shield" protecting the country from the plots and conspiracies of enemies, as envisioned by the leaders of the Islamic Revolution.
