Firefighters Control Blaze Near Yarka, Roads Reopen
Police announced the complete control of a fire that broke out in an open area near the village of Yarka, following intensive efforts by the Galilee West police station, Border Police, firefighting crews, and emergency forces. As a precautionary measure, a commercial center in the village was evacuated due to the proximity of the flames, though no injuries were reported. All roads that had been closed due to the fire have been reopened, and traffic has returned to normal.
Firefighting and rescue teams worked to extinguish the blaze in an open area behind the "Big Fashion" complex in Yarka. Kaid Daher, spokesperson for the Fire and Rescue Authority for the Arab media, stated that strong winds were accelerating the flames toward nearby residential buildings, necessitating swift intervention to protect residents and property. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
