Solomon Stars as West Ham Thrash Wrexham 6-0 in Championship

West Ham United secured a dominant 6-0 victory over Wrexham on Friday in the seventh round of the Championship, propelling them to the top of the league table, at least temporarily. Israeli international Manor Solomon was a key figure in the rout, contributing a goal and an assist.

West Ham took the lead in the 28th minute when Solomon's involvement in a play led to Jarrod Bowen scoring. Nine minutes later, Solomon provided a brilliant through ball to Saïd Benrahma, who then set up Danny Welbeck for the second goal. Solomon himself had a chance to score in the second half, but his shot was saved.

Despite a missed opportunity, Solomon continued to influence the game. He assisted the fifth goal for Edson Álvarez in the 76th minute. The Israeli then capped off his performance in the 82nd minute, scoring West Ham's sixth goal with a well-placed shot from 17 meters out.

Wrexham, owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, struggled to match West Ham's pace and quality throughout the match. The comprehensive win leaves West Ham with 14 points from seven games, one point ahead of second-placed West Bromwich Albion, who have played one less game.
