The head of Britain's domestic security service, MI5, Ken McCallum, has warned that the United Kingdom is confronting a convergence of threats more dangerous than during the 9/11 attacks. In an article marking the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, McCallum stated that while Islamist terrorism persists, it is now compounded by espionage, sabotage, and cyberattacks from hostile states.
