Arab 48 Program Tackles Israeli Election Issues, Arab Vote
The Arabic-language news website Arab 48 has launched a weekly analytical talk show titled "Inside the Box" (Dakhil Al-Sandooq), airing every Friday evening. The program focuses on key issues within the Israeli electoral landscape.
The second episode, which was recorded before the signing of a surplus vote agreement, addressed several political and electoral matters. These included the submission of candidate lists to the election committee, the commencement of election campaigns, and the targeting of the Arab vote by Zionist parties.
The show also featured an interview with Amjad Shbeita, Secretary of the Democratic Front for Peace and Equality (Hadash), discussing the party's recent crisis and the decision to suspend the candidacy of Jaafar Farah. The possibility of signing a surplus vote agreement with the United Arab List was also a topic, though the agreement was signed after the episode's recording.
Further discussions in the third segment covered other electoral issues, European sanctions on Israeli settlers, and an Emirati warning issued to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu days before October 7, 2023.
The program is produced by Arab 48 and presented and prepared by Samah Watad, Amal Araby, and Abd Abu Shehadeh. Rami Mansour serves as the managing editor.
