Ofer Winter Launches New Party, Targets Golan and Eisenkot

Ofer Winter's new political party, 'Amcha Israel' (The People of Israel), has officially launched its election campaign with billboards displayed across the country. Winter, a religious Zionist figure, positioned himself and his party as a significant surprise in the upcoming elections, despite the party's recent formation.

During the campaign launch, Winter identified Yair Golan and Gadi Eisenkot as his main rivals. He framed the central debate as a clash between two security concepts: 'containment' versus 'decisive action'. Winter emphasized the diversity of his party's list, highlighting the inclusion of individuals from various religious, ethnic, and geographic backgrounds, including a religious Jew, an Arab Christian, a secular woman from the periphery, a kibbutz member from Be'eri, residents of Judea and Samaria, young people, and professionals in fields such as agriculture, law, and public relations.

Winter also addressed what he described as attempts to undermine his party since its announcement, mentioning efforts to dismantle, incite, sabotage, and spread falsehoods. He expressed confidence in his party's ability to succeed, stating, 'Believe in us, we came to work for the people.' The party is set to finalize its Knesset list on the same day.
