West Bank Farms Seize Over 1.1 Million Dunams in Area C

Settler farms in the occupied West Bank now occupy over 1.1 million dunams, an area equivalent to one-third of the total Area C, according to a report by the "Farmers' Association." This seizure is attributed to "terrorist attacks" by settlers and the occupation authorities. An additional 200,000 dunams in Area C are controlled by settlements.

Currently, there are approximately 130 settler farms in these areas, with 40 established in the last two years. These farms are concentrated in the eastern West Bank, particularly the Jordan Valley, and in the southern Hebron Hills. The "Farmers' Association" aims to seize another million dunams in Area C.

Right-wing Israeli media outlets report that the "Farmers' Association" views these farms as a tool to "strengthen control" over occupied lands, seeing them as a continuation of "Zionist settlement principles." The association stated, "Our borders will be where the Jewish plow operates," and likened the Jordan Valley to the Jezreel Valley and the Dotan Valley to the occupied Golan Heights.

A recent report by Israeli anti-settlement groups Peace Now and Kerem Navot indicates that the Israeli government is accelerating the de facto annexation of the West Bank. Between 2023 and 2025, the government established 185 unauthorized settlement outposts and forcibly displaced residents from 118 Palestinian communities through "terrorist attacks."
