New Campaign Targets Israeli Generals Gadi Eisenkot and Yair Golan
The "Am Israel" party, led by retired Brigadier General Ofer Winter, has launched a new nationwide billboard campaign targeting Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of the "Yisrael" party, and Yair Golan, chairman of the "Democrats" party. The campaign centers on the question of responsibility for Israel's security, positioning Winter as a security alternative to Eisenkot and Golan.
Billboards displayed across Israel, including in Jerusalem near the Chords Bridge, pose the question, "Who do you want to be responsible for Israel's security?" The party's message claims that Golan and Eisenkot "entrenched the concept of containment in the IDF," while Winter is presented as someone who acted to promote decisive victory.
The "Am Israel" party aims to focus the election narrative on security issues, presenting Winter as a security alternative to figures associated with the center and left-wing leadership. "This is the story of these elections," a party statement declared.
