New Campaign Targets Ex-IDF Generals Gadi Eisenkot, Yair Golan

The "Am Israel" party, led by former IDF Brigadier General Ofer Winter, has launched a new billboard campaign across Israel targeting prominent former IDF generals Gadi Eisenkot and Yair Golan. The campaign, which includes billboards in Jerusalem near the Chords Bridge, centers on the question, "Who do you want to be responsible for Israel's security?"

The party aims to position Winter as a security alternative to Eisenkot, chairman of the "Yisrael" party, and Golan, chairman of the "Democrats" party. "Am Israel" claims that Golan and Eisenkot "entrenched the concept of containment in the IDF," while presenting Winter as someone who promoted decisive action.

The party intends to focus the election narrative on security issues, presenting Winter as the security choice for voters who identify with the center and left-wing leadership. "This is the story of these elections," a statement from the party read.
