Dozens of Hezbollah Fighters Found Dead in Southern Lebanon Tunnels

An Israeli official reported that dozens of Hezbollah operatives' bodies were discovered within the organization's tunnel network in southern Lebanon during searches and clearing operations of underground infrastructure. The findings in the field indicate the high number of casualties Hezbollah has sustained due to sieges, precise attacks, and close-quarters combat by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

The focused pressure applied to the underground complexes led to the collapse of the organization's local infrastructure. Many militants were eliminated within the tunnels or abandoned there after their escape routes were blocked, according to the official.
