Former MK Yoav Segalovich Visits Druze Village for Religious Festival
Former Knesset Member Yoav Segalovich visited the village of Hurfeish on Tuesday to mark the pilgrimage to the shrine of Nabi Seblan. During his visit, Segalovich met with Sheikh Muwaffaq Tarif, the spiritual leader of the Druze community in Israel, along with other sheikhs, community leaders, and residents.
Segalovich toured the Galilee region and engaged in discussions emphasizing the importance of unity, partnership, and coexistence, as well as the need to strengthen common ground among Israel's diverse societal groups. He extended congratulations to the Druze community for the occasion, wishing them a happy holiday and a blessed visit.
Following his visit to Hurfeish, Segalovich proceeded to the local council in Ma'alot Tarshiha, where he met with Council Head Eliya Abd. Their discussions focused on the challenges facing the town and ways to enhance partnership and ongoing joint efforts.
