Nadborna Rebbe Visits New Synagogue in Kiryat Gat
The Rebbe of Nadborna recently visited the city of Kiryat Gat to bless the burgeoning community and its new, nearly completed synagogue. The visit, timed ahead of the High Holy Days, was met with great excitement by the local Nadborna congregants.
The centerpiece of the Rebbe's visit was the impressive new synagogue, described as the first Hasidic house of worship in the city to be built on such a grand scale. The Rebbe toured the construction site, showing keen interest in the progress and preparations for its opening. He then led the Maariv evening prayer service within the new building alongside community members, an event that fostered a sense of spiritual elevation.
Following the prayer, the Rebbe held a reception where he met with local rabbis and public figures, including Rabbi David Shuvaks, rabbi of the Belz community, and Rabbi Mordechai Charez, rabbi of the Kehal Chassidim community. During these meetings, the Rebbe discussed community and educational matters, as well as current events, offering blessings for the new year.
The community expressed feelings of upliftment and joy following the Rebbe's visit, carrying his blessings forward into the High Holy Days.
