Three Accused of Arms Trafficking Used in Attack on Security Forces
A Beersheba District Court has indicted three individuals on charges of arms trafficking. The accused include two residents of Laqya, Ali Abu Nadi, 23, and Basem Abu Karan, along with Muhammad Al-Ouridat, 22, from Dahariya in Hebron.
The indictment alleges that Abu Nadi sold 150 rounds of ammunition to Al-Ouridat. This ammunition was smuggled into Palestinian Authority territory and subsequently used in a shooting attack against security forces in June 2026, which resulted in one person being injured.
In a separate incident detailed in the indictment, Abu Nadi and Abu Karan coordinated the sale of a Glock 17 pistol to Al-Ouridat for 28,000 shekels.
