Top Rabbi's Final Blessing Deadline Looms for Charity Donors

With only hours remaining, Jewish individuals have until the end of the day to join a charity drive and be included in a special blessing to be issued by Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu Sternbuch, a leading halachic authority, on Rosh Hashanah eve. The 'L'Krat Kalla' fund, managed by 'Kupat Ha'ir,' is collecting donations to support hundreds of impoverished brides and grooms. Rabbi Sternbuch, despite his frailty, has been issuing blessings that are reportedly fulfilled rapidly, with hundreds and thousands of salvation stories accumulating.

This Rosh Hashanah, during the solemn period when fates are determined for the year, Rabbi Sternbuch intends to leverage his Torah authority to issue a decree for donors to the 'L'Krat Kalla' fund. The fund has already raised over four million shekels for weddings over the past year. The decree promises that those who donate the requested amount will receive good tidings within six months of their commitment, with the blessings expected to manifest even before the Passover holiday.

This commitment is formalized in a document titled 'Deed and Decree of Good Tidings,' signed by Rabbi Sternbuch, Rabbi Yitzchak Hillel, and Rabbi Shimon Galai. The signatories bless the donors, stating that in return for supporting poor brides, they will merit to marry off their own children easily and prosperously. The document acknowledges the donors' merit, emphasizing the importance of charity, especially for the current generation, as a means to hasten the coming of the Messiah.
