The gesture came after Piron, who has lived with a severe physical disability affecting all four limbs since birth, posted a video on Instagram showcasing his ability to score by kicking a basketball. Piron shared the video, noting the surreal experience of being able to share such a moment online and receive a response from a star athlete.

Achiudja responded to Piron's post with the encouraging words, "Come shoot at halftime in my game." This exchange has the potential to create a memorable moment on the NBA court if the invitation is realized. Piron, who was adopted by Rabbi Shi Piron, has overcome significant challenges throughout his life. He has pursued acting, trained in Jiu-Jitsu, and insisted on enlisting in the Israel Defense Forces, ultimately volunteering for service in the Home Front Command despite receiving an exemption due to his physical condition.
