Israel's Energy Ministry Finds Two Gas Stations Non-Compliant

Israel's Ministry of Energy has identified two gas stations nationwide that are not compliant with fuel quality standards. The ministry regularly tests fuel at stations and depots, both routinely and in response to consumer complaints, sending samples to a lab for analysis.

In the past two weeks, the non-compliant stations found were "Ner HaMeir Ofakim" on Jabotinsky Street in Ofakim, and "Sonol Ha'arel Life" on Road 80 in Ar'ara al-Naqab (Ar'ara in the Negev).

The findings have been transferred to the Fuel Administration for evidence gathering and a comprehensive investigation into all parties involved in the supply chain to identify and prosecute those responsible. Gas stations found with non-compliant fuel will be publicly listed on the Ministry of Energy website for six months.

The Fuel and Gas Administration emphasizes that this information does not indicate guilt or reflect fuel quality at other times. If deviations are found in a sample, a repeat test is conducted, followed by a professional opinion, with the entire process adhering to strict security measures.
