Agam Buhbut has released a new love ballad, "Le'olamim" (“Forever”), but the song’s most personal meaning is family-based. It was written as a special gift for the wedding of her beloved brother Ron and his partner Nisan, with the intention of accompanying them on their wedding day and becoming the soundtrack to their life together.
Buhbut wrote and composed the song with two of Israel’s most prominent hitmakers, Tamar Yahalomi and Yonatan Kalimi. She said the song was created from the heart as a personal present meant to leave a lasting family memory.
The first reveal happened in an unusual way during Buhbut’s large performance at Caesarea Amphitheater. In front of thousands of fans, and without advance notice, she dedicated the main stage moment to her brother and his bride-to-be, who were sitting in the audience.
She then unveiled the song for the first time and told them it had been written and composed especially for them. The surprise quickly became one of the evening’s most memorable moments, as the crowd and the family reacted emotionally. Buhbut said that while some songs are written for a career, this one was written entirely from the heart to remind the couple of the path they are choosing to walk together.
